The game played here is basque pelota (which means "ball").
Derived from old tennis, it evolved into a wide variety of practices.
The game can be played with various instruments: a Cesta Punta, the Hand itself or a Pala, just to name a few.
It can be played on various courts: on a Fronton (i.e. front wall), with an additional wall on the left, or in fully closed Trinquet.
Pelota
Any style of the game will make a spectacular summer evening.
We will be happy to guide and introduce you to this more traditional aspect of the Basque culture.
